Parental Role
As a parent your goal is to have your child be successful in
both school and life. As such, we are a team to help your child succeed and
reach their greatest potential. To facilitate transparency and student success
I keep my blog up to date at http://www.callaghanscience.blogspot.com.
Here both parents and students can see most classroom documents, notes, and
testing schedule. If your child is absent they can find daily handouts and
activities on this class blog. Please feel free to contact me by email (calliescience@gmail.com) or phone
(313-866-7233).
Absence & Tardiness Policy
You are expected to be in class every day prepared before
the bell rings. If you are absent and the absence is excused you will receive
time equal to the amount of time missed to make up work. Retakes for missed
tests and quizzes must be scheduled within one week of the quiz/test. Missed
lab work can be made up through an alternate assignment.
